Brian Boru Club – Ashton. This Wigan venue is an Irish club in Ashton that showcases a plethora of community events from live music, karaoke and Irish dance classes and performances. The Brian Boru Club was established in 1889 and is thus, the oldest Irish club in the UK, a fact it is very proud of as it continues to preserve it’s Irish heritage with events like their annual St. Patrick’s Day parade and regular Irish Ceili band nights.
